Professional Master Make-up Workshop Series
New classes and extended length of class!

Course Syllabus

This is a professional make-up course for the newbie as well as the working professional. When students graduate they will have the skills, porfolio, resume, business cards and certificate so they can begin to work as a free lance make-up artist. They also will be eligible to work with The Make-up Agency, part of Make-up Artist Sarah Giovinetti's company.

WEEK ONE

Day One
Basics: Ethics, communication, professionalism, sanitation, foundation, skin care, brushes, and make-up kit.

Day Two
Basics: Customizing products for clients, contouring, and techniques.

Day Three

Basics: Wedding techniques, marketing brides, and natural looks.

WEEK TWO

Day One
Advanced: Film, television, and video make-up.

Day Two
Advanced: Stage make-up, lashes, and bold looks.

Day Three
Advanced: Period looks, and character make-up.

WEEK THREE

Day One

Master Series I: Body painting and airbrushing.

Day Two
Master Series I: Photoshoot project.

Day Three
Master Series I: Portfolio development, business cards and resume development.

WEEK FOUR

Day One
Master Series II: Fashion show project.

Day Two
Master Series II: T.V. show project.

Day Three
Master Series II: Final creative project.

Make-up kit, and course materials are provided. Homework is given everyday and students are expected to go on all assigned field trips and make-up assignments.

Day classes are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-1pm
Weekend classes are Saturday, Sunday 9am-1pm and Monday Evening 6-9:30pm.
